Pageone Wudaokou
Beijing Pageone Wudaokou is a lighting design for a bookstore in the Haidian district of Beijing. The bookstore also holds exhibitions and lectures, so flexible lighting was selected to suit different uses. Bookshelf lighting is the main element, as it helps visitors find their preferred books. Three types of bookshelves receive different power levels per meter, and the highest level is used for accent lighting. LED linear lights and adjustable recessed downlights with a color temperature of 3000 kelvin and a color rendering index above 90 create a warm and soft reading atmosphere.
Pageone Wudaokou Bookstore by LDPi (China Branch) has been highlighted as an outstanding representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Pageone Wudaokou Bookstore earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Lighting Products and Fixtures Design in 2022. The A' Lighting Products and Fixtures Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which recognizes exceptional design of chandeliers, pendant lights, wall sconces, table lamps, floor lamps, outdoor lights, recessed lights, track lights and more.
